NELA is registered with the Department of Labour as an Employers’ Organisation with a scope to represent employers in any sector and industry in South Africa.
Our vision for 2021 is to broaden our representation on more Bargaining Councils where NELA has membership and to focus on participation in the collective bargaining process to the benefit and advantage of all our members.
A specific sector where NELA will be very active is the Domestic Worker Sector and we will strive to become a leading role player in this sector to focus on formalising the sector and actively engage with Government in general and specifically with Department of Employment and Labour.
